Transportation from Song Kul lake to Kochkor: Another important thing to arrange in advance is transportation from Song-Kul lake back to Kochkor (or Kyzart). We would recommend booking a ride in advance. Most likely you will stay in Kochkor before starting this trek and right outside the center there are 3-4 tourism offices where you could ask to arrange transport.

When is the best time to visit?

This is also the time when the grasslands are lush and green, making it a perfect time to trek through the nearby mountains and explore the alpine meadows.

During this time, the nearby ski resorts are covered in a thick blanket of snow, providing an exciting and adventurous winter experience.
