Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan tour 12 days

1 July: Almaty – Charyn canyon – Saty village

Depart Almaty and drive to Charyn canyon (229 km 3-4 h) Located in the east of

Kazakhstan Charyn canyon amazes with a huge gorge cliffs of various colours and

shades. The canyon is a part of the Charyn National Park territory where you can see the

old ash – tree grove, the Castle valley and 154 m canyon with cliffs resembling towers. As

you arrive the destination, you will have some time for picnic and rest. After that walk

along canyon and enjoy its beautiful view 1 hour. Drive to Saty village 1:30 min (Kolsay).

Dinner overnight in homestay.

2 July: Kaiyndy lake – Kolsay lake – Saty village

After breakfast, we drive to Kolsai Lake which is one of the most visited places 40 min.

And have very nice views on the background there is Tien-Shan Mountain range. After

lunch, we will explore Kaindy Lake 1 hour. Kaindy lake has a very specific view coz of a

sunk forest. Here is possible horse riding to the lake 1 hour. Evening back to same guest

house.

3 July: Kazakhstan ( Kolsay ) – Kyrgyzstan ( Karakol )

After breakfast continue transfer to the Kazakh – Kyrgyz border 2:30 hours. Meet with

Kyrgyz Driver and guide at the border and transfer to Karakol via Karkyra valley. 3:00pm

Arrival in Karakol we will visit Wooden Orthodox Church, Dungan Mosque in Chinese

style. Dinner in a café. Overnight at the guesthouse.

4 July: Karakol – Altyn Arashan

In the moring transfer to Altyn Arashan gorge by Russian car 4WD vehicle. Altyn Arashan

(Golden Spa) gorge one of the most famous gorges in Karakol there you will see

wonderful fur tree forests and hot springs. Overnight in Homestay. Driving time 2:30 hours

5 July: Altyn Arashan – Karakol – Zheti Oguz – Skazaka canyon – Bokonbaevo

After breakfast we will be transferred to the Karakol city 2 hours. On arrival Lunch in

restaurant. After Lunch go to Zheti Oguz 40 min ( Seven Bulls ) gorge and Broken Heart

Rock. Transfer to Bokonbaevo 2hours, on the way visit Skazka canyon. Dinner 7pm

overnight In Guesthouse.

6 July: Bokonbaevo – Kochkor – Song Kol lake

After breakfast we have eagle hunting show and Archery 30 min. Transfer to Kochkor and

Song Kol lake ( 120 km 3 hours) On of the highest lakes in Kyrgyzstan ( 3016 m above

sea level). There you can ride a horse, see edelweiss flowers, camels, yaks, golden

eagles and watch how local women make Kyrgyz national drink – Kyrgyz ( Mare’s milk).

In this magnificent place you can see hundreds of herds and a lot of different yurts. Dinner.

Overnight in the yurt camp.

7 July: Song Kol lake > Kok Kyia valley(8 hours)

Today we drive to Tash Rabat with 32 parrot pass. Here hiking 30 min to waterfall. Lunch

in Naryn city. Continue drive to Kok Kiya valley. Arrival dinner overnight in yurt.

8 July: Kel Suu lake (Horseback riding)

)Having breakfast and start horse riding to Kel Suu lake 2 hours, The lake is located in the Naryn

region, in the Ak-Sai Valley on the Chinese border. It sits on the headwaters of the

Kurumduk River at an altitude of about 3600 meters above sea level enjoy with a lake vie,

afternoon back to yurt camp.

9 July: Kel Suu lake – Kochkor

Having breakfast and transfer Back to Kochkor, Arrival visiting to local hand made carpet

show, same time you can practice with them. Dinner in restaurant overnight in

Guesthouse.

10 July: Kochkor > Burana Tower > Bishkek

Today we go to Bishkek, capital city of Kyrgyzstan. On the way visit an important

point on the ancient Silk Road — the Burana Tower architectural complex 2hours,

dated back to the 10th century, monuments include a minaret, remnants of a

castle, and ancient warrior cemetery. 2pm Arrival to Bishkek lunch, after visit tinf to

Osh bazar, here you can buy local handmade souvenirs. Explore Bishkek city centre.

11 July: Chunkurchak valley – Ala Archa national park

Today is more adventure day, visit Chunkurchak gorge its one of the smallest, but same

time most beautiful gorges in Kyrgyzstan. In the ski resort, we ride here zip line, and

walking by Sky Bridge.

After Drive to Ala Archa National Natural Park located in the picturesque Ala Archa Gorge

just 40 km outside of Bishkek. Ala Archa is a popular destination for hiking, skiing, and

mountaineering including trips.

Trekking in a park 1 hour. Evening back to Bishkek 6pm drop to your hotel.

12 July: Bishkek – Almaty

Check out from hotel and drive to Almaty, Crossing Korday land Border. Driving about 4-5 hours.

Arrival drop to your hotel, end of the tour
