Central Asia tour + Kazakhstan + Kyrgyzstan + Uzbekistan 12 Days

Day 1: Almaty city > Charyn Canyon > Kolsay >Saty Village

 

Pick up from your hotel in Almaty and start tour to Charyn canyon driving 2:30 hours, which is like a small Grand Canyon in Central Asia. Upon arrival, you will admire the grand panorama and go down to the bottom of the canyon to walk around 2 km through the maze of the Castles Valley. The bottom of the Canyon has slight descend to the end of the walk, where you will get to the fresh oasis on the bank of icy cold Charyn River, where also located eco-park with several yurts (traditional dwellings) and a small open-air café, working in the summer time. After some rest, you will walk back the same path to the stairs and drive to one of the observation points for another breathtaking panoramic view. After 1-2 hours continue our way to Kolsay lake which is one of the most visited places. And have very nice views on the background there is Tien-Shan Mountain range. Arrival staying in Saty Village and overnight in a guesthouse.

 

Day 2:  Saty Village >Kayindi Lake > Karakol 

 

After breakfast driving to Kaiyndy lake 1 hour. Kaindy lake has a very specific view coz of a sunk forest. Here is possible horse riding to the lake 3km.

Afternoon driving to the  border and crossing the border. The border crossing procedure will take around one or half an hour. Arrival to Karakol in the evening. Overnight in a hotel.

 

Day 3:Karakol > Altyn Arashan 

 

In the morning after breakfast transfer to Altyn arashan by Russian car Bukhanka 2 hours. arrival to Altyn Arashan lunch and you can get a natural hot shower. you have opportunity to walking around the valley. Dinner overnight in a guesthouse. Here is Very beautiful scenery, view to always snow covered Palatka peak 5020m. Overnight in yurt/guesthouse 

 

Day 4–Altyn Arashan- Karakol -Bokonboevo (3-4hrs)

 

Drive back to Aksu Village by UAZ and continue by 4×4 car your tour.

Stop at Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon and Barskoon Gorge.

Visit Ak Sai Canyon to see a beautiful panorama of the lake and an interesting landscape of the mountainous area.

Eagle hunting demonstration in the morning, learn how local hunter trained eagle as partner. Possible to try Archery too.
Overnight:cozy guesthouse 

 

Day 5: Bokonbaevo > Kochkor > Song Kol lake

Drive to Kochkor Village, lunch in restaurant and visit a handicraft workshop. Continue drive to Song Kol lake via Kalmak Ashhu pass 3400m altitude. Arrival to Song Kol lake dinner overnight in a yurt.

Day 6: Song Kol lake > Kok Moinok > Chong Kemin

 

After breakfast we ride a horse shore of the lake 2 hours. Drive to Kok Moinok canyon. Lunch in Kochkor, and in Boom gorge visit Kok Moinok canyon. Its similar to USA Grand canyon. hiking 1 hour. Arrival to Chong kemin dinner overnight in a guesthouse.

Day 7: Chong Kemin > Burana tower > Bishkek

 

Drive to Bishkek. En-route visit an important point on the ancient Silk Road — the Burana Tower architectural complex, dated back to the 10th century, monuments include a minaret, remnants of a castle, and ancient warrior cemetery. Arrival to Bishkek.

 

Day 8: Bishkek-Uzbekistan Tashkent 

In the morning transfer to airport and fly to Tashkent (check flight times).

 

Arrival in Tashkent. Meeting at international airport of Tashkent. Transfer to the Hotel. Check-in (at/after 12:00) (If your flight arrives earlier we have to request from the hotel for early check-in usually for additional cost but we try to make it free of charge as possible or we can proceed to city tour in Tashkent ) Tashkent city tour ( 7 -8 Hours ) visiting old part of the city: Architectural complex “Khazret-Imam” (Mausoleum of imam Kaffal al-Shashi, Barak-khan Madrassah, Tellya Sheikh Madrassah, Mui-Mubarak Madrassah, Juma Mosque, Imam Ismail al-Bukhari Islamic Institute), KukeldashMedressa, bazaar Chorsu. A visit to European part of the city: Amir Timur Square, Theatre Square, Independence Square, Monument of Courage, Tashkent TV Tower and Memorial to the Victims of Repression. Drive back to the Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 9: Tashkent – Samarkand

 

Early Breakfast in the Hotel 07:00 Transfer to Tashkent railway station. 08:00 Depart from Tashkent to Samarkand by high-speed train “Afrosiab” 10:08 Arrival in Samarkand. Transfer to the hotel, check-in. Sightseeing tour of Samarkand ( 6-7 Hours ) visiting: Gur Emir Mausoleum (Tamerlan’s tomb), Ruhabad Mausoleum, Registan Square (a heart of the city), Bibi-Hanum Mosque, orient bazaar Siyab, ShahiZinda Necropolis and Ulugbek’s Observatory, Mausoleum of KhodjaDoniyor known as Saint Daniel. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 10: Samarkand – Bukhara

 

Breakfast. 09:43 Transfer to Bukhara by train or by road. Driving By road gives the chance to pay a visit to Gijduvan’s ceramics workshop that From ancient times to the present day known as a shopping city and the center of craftsmanship. But still, pottery is unique among the various crafts that flourish in town. Gidjuvan school of ceramics characterized by the use of geometric forms and colors in ornaments. Arrival in Bukhara, Sightseeing tour of Bukhara visiting Samanids Mausoleum, Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum, Bolo Hauz Mosque, Ark Fortress, Minorai-Kalon and Poi-Kalon Mosque, Miri-Arab Madrassah, Toki-Zargaron, KoshMadrassah (Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan), MagokiAttari Mosque, LyabiHauseansemble, check in the hotel. Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 11: Bukhara – Tashkent

 

Breakfast at the Hotel. Short city tour/shopping in Trading domes (covered bazaars). In XVI century it was the center for trade of silk, jewelry and even for money exchange. Today tourists can also buy here different souvenirs of a wide range: from small souvenir magnets to the famous Bukhara carpets. 14:30 Transfer to the railway station of Bukhara. 15:50 Bukhara-Tashkent by train 19:45 Arrival in Tashkent. Transfer to the Hotel. Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 12: Tashkent – Airport

 

Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to International airport of Tashkent. In case of evening flight, city tour or shopping in Chorsu bazaar. End of services.
