Trekking around Song-Kul Lake is a fantastic way to experience Kyrgyzstan's stunning landscapes and traditional nomadic culture. Song-Kul Lake, located at an altitude of 3,016 meters (9,895 feet), is one of Kyrgyzstan’s highest and largest alpine lakes, surrounded by vast mountain pastures and scenic beauty.

Day 01: Kochkor — Kyzart pass 2664m — Kilemche jailoo
After breakfast transfer from Kochkor to Kyzart. From here we start trekking tour to Kilemche, on the way we cross Kyzyl-Kiya pass 3000m, an enormous, relatively flat sea of grass. Continue into the Chaar-Archa Valley and eat a tasty lunch in a valley, with views of holy 4400 m Baba-Ata Mountain. After lunch go to Kilemche jailoo. Dinner and sleep in a yurt.
Trek time: 5 hours.
Day 2: Kilemche — Song Kol lake
Spend the morning climbing to Jalgyz Karagai pass (3400m), enter the lake basin. The trek offers superb views of grassland and mountain ranges. After lunch you have time to spend near the lake. Dinner Overnight in yurt,enjoy typical local food, such as fermented mare’s milk.
Trek time: 5 hours.
Day 3: Song Kol lake – Kochkor
After breakfast you can walk shore of the lake. Transfer to Kochkor by the Kalmak Ashuu pass(3446m) Arrival in Kochkor. Free time.
