Day trip to Kok Moinok canyon & Burana tower

Visiting the ancient Burana tower, as well as exploring Kok Moinok canyons, where you can walk along the cliffs and climb the canyon mountains. Kok Moinok Canyon is included in the list of many tourist adventure routes. The location of the canyon by the highway makes it accessible even as part of a day trip from Bishkek. Our visit to this canyon coincided with rainy and windy weather, periodically raining all over the Chui Valley and the wind-blown Boom Gorge. The unpaved road from Kok-Moinok village leading to the canyon tract and located in the lowlands of the river mouth was flooded with floodwaters in places, forming large puddles of water and mud baths. At that moment it seemed that it was desirable to go here in such weather only in an off-road car. But up ahead we saw four or five vans with students from India and Pakistan. One of the vans got stuck in the mud, and the students scattered in friendly groups through the mountains and the river floodplain. The rain stopped, pulling into the afternoon a perfect day for an easy hike in the canyons of Kok Moinok
