Day 1: Almaty Airport > Almaty city (By car)

Meeting at the airport with your guide, drop to your hotel

Day 2: Almaty > Altyn Emel >Singing dunes > Basshi (By car)

The northern entry to the Altyn Emel National Park is located in Bas’shi village, 300 kilometres to the north from Almaty. The northern gate is used to reach the famous attractions of the Park: Singing Dune and Aktau mountains. So, we start early from Almaty:
Singing Dune is located in the valley of Ili River, about 2 kilometers from the river in its right bank, between small mountain ranges – the Greater and Lesser Kalkans. It looks like huge sand dune with overall height of 150m and length about 3 kilometers. The ridge of the unique sand dune is sharp as a blade. The sand crumbles underneath your feet, but the ridge does not get blunt. Overnight staying Basshi village.

Day 3: Altyn Emel > Aktau > Katytau > Basshi  (By car)

The Katutau Mountains are just as attractive and unique as shrine. Time, water and the sun have created intricate rock rarities here. As you pass wild and uninhabited gorges, you can see a mother bear bending over a bear-cub, or a huge upturned boat of Robinson Crusoe, with the dead Aktau Mountains nearby. The word Katutau translates as “harsh mountains” from Kazak. This is a very old badly eroded mountain exits of volcanic rocks. Volcanic rock is very brittle and easily shatters by physical impact. Water, time and wind carved in the rock bizarre shape. Dinner overnight same guesthouse.

Day 4: Basshi > Charyn Canyon > Saty village (By car)

After your breakfast head to Charyn canyon, which is like a small Grand Canyon in Central Asia. We will walk around and have a picnic. And we will drive to the Kazak family which lives in Saty village. Today we stay in the local guest house. And The host feeds us with local Kazak meals. You can explore a very calm and charming village by walking around.

Day 5: Saty village > Kaiyndy lake > Kolsai Lake (By car/Hiking)

After breakfast, we drive to Kaiyndy lake which is one of the most visited places. And have very nice views on the background there is Tien-Shan Mountain range. Here is possible horse riding to the lake. After lunch, we will explore Kolsay Lake. Kolsay lake has a very specific view coz of a sunk forest. Evening staying in Kolsay Nomad hotel.

Day 6: Saty > Almaty

Today driving back to Almaty 5 hours. Arrival city tour, visit to 28 Panfilovites, Cathedral Church, Green Bazaar here you can buy handmade souvenirs. Drop to your hotel free time.

Day 7: Almaty > Turgen gorge > Issyk lake

Turgen gorge is famous for waterfalls. One of these attractions is the Bear Falls, about 30 meters high. After driving to Issyk lake, Issyk is a picturesque lake located in the Issyk gorge of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountain range, about 40 km east of Almaty in the southern part of Almaty province.

It was formed about 8-10 thousand years ago in a landslide that created a natural dam about 300 meters high. Initially, the length of Issyk was 1,850 m, width 500 m, depth 50-79 m. The water is green-blue. The height above sea level is about 1,700 m. Evening back to Almaty. Drop to your hotel

Day 8: Shymbulak > Kok Tobo > Almaty

You will go up close to the clouds to Shymbulak Mountain Ski Resort, located in the picturesque gorge of Trans-Ili Alatau at an altitude of 2260 m above sea level. Further, the cable car will take you upper to Talgar pass (3200 m above the sea level), where a magnificent scenery of Trans-Ili Alatau mountain peaks opens. Evening back to Almaty, and visit to Kok Tobo, here is possible to see panoramic view of the Almaty city, drop to your hotel.
